Certificate of Analysis

Welcome to our COA Library!

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a lab-tested document that proves exactly what’s in your concentrate—and what’s not. For cannabis or hemp concentrates (wax, shatter, live resin, distillate, etc.), it’s the single most important trust tool between brand and consumer. Here’s why it matters:

1. Potency You Can Verify
Shows exact cannabinoid percentages (THC, CBD, CBG, etc.).
Prevents “80% THC” claims that are actually 55% in the jar.

2. Safety from Contaminants
Screens for:
Pesticides (62+ compounds)
Heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury)
Residual solvents (butane, propane, ethanol)
Mycotoxins & microbes (mold, E. coli, salmonella)
A failed COA = product should be pulled from shelves.

3. No Mystery Additives
Reveals terpene profiles, cutting agents, or vitamin E acetate (linked to 2019 vaping illnesses).
Lets you avoid fake “terps added” or diluted carts.

4. Batch-Specific Proof
Every COA ties to a specific batch number on the package.
Generic or reused COAs = red flag.

5. Legal & Retail Compliance
Required in regulated states (CA, CO, WA, etc.) for shelf placement.
Protects dispensaries from fines and recalls.
